CAA: “40 Days of Dating” creators Jessica Walsh and Timothy Goodman have signed with CAA for representation in all areas. The two designers launched the website FortyDaysOfDating.com, which attracted the attention of Hollywood’s top talent agencies when it recently went viral. Walsh and Goodman were good friends who decided to date each other for a period of forty days and chronicle the experiment, agreeing to go on at least three dates a week. The two are now fielding interest from film and television producers who want to use their story as the basis for a film or a television series. Equitable Stewardship for Artists (ESA): Director, producer and actor Jerry Levine is now repped by Paul Alan Smith. Levine most recently directed episodes of the television series Elementary, Vegas and CSI:NY. Levine originally got his start in acting, appearing in such feature films as Teen Wolf, Iron Eagle, K-9, Born on the Fourth of July and Swimming with Sharks. Television appearances included roles on Charles In Charge, The Bronx Zoo, Going Places, Seinfeld and Will & Grace. Since 1999, however, Levine has worked primarily as a television director. Levin got his directorial start directing multiple episodes of Boy Meets World, as well as Chicago Hope. His prolific resume since then has included multiple episodes of Family Law, The District, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Everybody Hates Chris, Monk, Life Unexpected, Ringer and Hawaii Five-O. Levine continues to also be repped by ICM Partners. Paradigm: Emmy-nominated actor Harry Hamlin is now repped by Alisa Adler, Erwin More, Andy Patman and Shawn Scallon. Hamlin most recently appeared as Jim Cutler on the current season of Mad Men and played the recurring role of Lloyd Lishman on Showtime’s Shameless. However, Hamlin may be best known to audiences for his role as Michael Kuzak on L.A. Law, as well as Perseus in the original Clash of the Titans. After being named People’s “Sexiest Man Alive” in 1987, Hamlin left L.A. Law to revive his feature career. Since then, Hamlin has notably had recurring roles on Veronica Mars and Army Wives before taking on his comeback role on Mad Men, a role for which he recently received an Emmy nomination. Hamlin also appeared on the third season of Dancing With The Stars. ICM Partners: Actor Ioan Gruffudd is now repped by Hildy Gottlieb, Brian Mann, Philip Grenz and Ruthanne Secunda. Gruffudd will soon be seen in the feature film Mariah Mundi and the Midas Box. He also appeared earlier this year on the television series Necessary Roughness and Castle. Gruffudd won his breakout role in 1997 playing a ship officer in Titanic and soon after took on the role of Horatio Hornblower in the Hornblower series ofBritish made-for-television films. Gruffudd is probably best known to U.S. audiences his role as Mr. Fantastic in the Fantastic Four films. He also appeared on the recently canceled series Ringer. Some of Gruffudd’s other notable roles include Blackhawk Down, W., Horrible Bosses, and The Forsyte Saga television mini-series. Gruffudd performs regularly as a voice actor and has done work on American Dad and Family Guy. ICM Partners: Rapper Rick Ross is now repped by Zach Iser, Carol Goll and Chris Silbermann. Ross’ sixth studio album Mastermind is set to drop later this year. He made his debut in 2006 with his album Port of Miami, which debuted in the top spot of the US Billboard 200, selling 187,000 units during the first week. Ross’ fourth album, 2010’s Teflon Don, was certified Gold and his most recent album 2012’s God Forgives I Don’t sold 220,000 copies its first week, which marked Ross’ best first week sales ever. In 2009, Ross launched the record label imprint Maybach Music Group, whose clients include Ross, Meek Mill and Wales, and in 2012, MTV named Ross as its “Hottest MC In The Game.” UTA: Actor and comedian Maz Jobrani is now repped by Ali Benmohamed, Josh Katz and Heidi Feigin. Jobrani appeared earlier this year on the television series Men at Work, Tainted Love and Whitney. He is a founding member of the “Axis of Evil” comedy group, which appeared on a Comedy Central special. Jobrani has also worked extensively as a television actor and has made appearances on The Colbert Report, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson amongst others. Some of his more notable television credits have included 24, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Life with Bonnie, as well as recurring roles on Life on a Stick, The Knights of Prosperity and Better Off Ted. Jobrani’s feature credits include Friday After Next, The Interpreter and Dragonfly. He has appeared in two Showtime Comedy specials and performs stand-up comedy around the world, including the Middle East where he has performed for the King of Jordan.Management Companies
Berwick & Kovacik: Actor and director Kenneth Branagh is now repped by Laura Berwick and Becca Kovacik. Branagh most recently directed and appeared in the Jack Ryan reboot, which is currently in post-production and stars Chris Pine. Once hailed as the “new Laurence Olivier,” the Shakespearean-trained actor is probably best known for directing and starring in Shakespeare adaptations, including Henry V, Much Ado About Nothing, Hamlet, Love’s Labour’s Lost and As You Like It. His extensive film and television acting credits includes appearances in Fortunes of War, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Valkyrie and My Week With Marilyn. His directing credits include Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, Dead Again, The Magic Flute and Sleuth. More recently, Branagh starred as a brilliant, but dysfunctional detective in PBS’ Wallander and he directed Marvel’s smash hit Thor. Next up, Branagh is set to direct Cinderella, which is currently in pre-production and will star Lily James and Cate Blanchett. Branagh has won an Emmy, three BAFTAs and been nominated for five Academy Awards, all in different categories. He was knighted in 2012.↧

The daughter of TV producer Jane Gillan Stoddard and NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams, she spent four years with the comedy troupe Just Add Water while she was attending Yale. After Judd Apatow saw Williams in a YouTube mashup of “Nature Boy,” he brought her in for an audition and she soon landed the part on Girls. Outside of Girls, Williams has written and performed in several Funny or Die sketches, including playing Kate Middleton in Will & Kate: Before Happily Ever After. Williams has also appeared on The League and she had a recurring role earlier this year on The Mindy Project. Resolution: Actor and comedian Lamorne Morris has signed with Resolution in all areas. Morris currently stars as Winston on the hit Fox series New Girl and will soon appear in the indie features Sex Ed and Friend Zone. Mackenzie’s latest film, Starred Up, just made a buzzed-about premiere at Telluride and Toronto. The film will make its European debut at the London Film Festival this October. Mackenzie began his career making short films, winning an award for his debut short California Sunshine in 1997. After completing nine shorts and a documentary, his first feature was 2002’s The Last Great Wilderness, which starred his younger brother Alastair Mackenzie. In 2004, Mackenzie gained international attention with Young Adam, which starred Ewan McGregor and Tilda Swinton.
