Cherrytree Music Publishing: Martin Kierszenbaum, the founder of Cherrytree Records, has formed this new partnership with Kobalt Music Publishing.
Gidden Media: Amy Baer announced the launch of this company to develop feature and television projects, with
Christopher Ceccotti joining as Head, Development.
Lifeboat Capital: Cassian Elwes and
Robert Ogden Barnum of e2b Capital, along with
Buddy Patrick of Windy Hill Pictures, set up this bridge financing partnership to make loans of $1 million to $5 million to 15-20 independent films. Elwes and Barnum will be based in Los Angeles, with Patrick in New Orleans.
Most Talkative: Andy Cohen, who recently stepped down as Bravo’s Executive Vice President of Talent and Development, has launched this production company, which will develop prime time programming for Bravo. Cohen has also agreed to a new two-year deal, which will extend his work on the network’s show, “Watch What Happens: Live,” where he serves as both host and executive producer. Cohen will remain Executive Producer of Bravo’s multiple “Real Housewives” series.
VEGA, BABY!: Ricky Budhrani announced the launch of this Hong Kong-based film financing and production company, and will serve as Chief Executive Officer. The company was also closing a production pact with Adam Ripp and Rob Paris’ Crime Scene Pictures.
