 Company Launches

278 Films: Relativity launched this new label to distribute independent films. Plimsoll Productions: Grant Mansfield will serve as Chief Executive Officer of this newly formed company, which will focus on reality and wildlife programming.  He plans to open offices in London and Bristol to service both the US and UK markets.  Christine Owens will serve as Managing Director, while Gavin Henderson has joined as Creative Director.  Additionally, Martha Holmes has joined as Executive Producer, Wildlife, and Kate Beetham has joined as Executive Producer, Factual. Storied Media Group: Former ICM partners agent Todd Hoffman has launched this management/production company, which will represent writers as well as publications such as The New York Times, 60 Minutes and New York magazine. Untitled Sue Naegle Company: Sue Naegle is stepping down from her post as President, HBO Entertainment, and launching her own company with a three-year first-look producing deal with HBO, through September 2016.

Studios, Networks, and Media Conglomerates

20th Century Fox: Salil Mehta has been hired for a newly created position, President, Content Management. CBS Entertainment: Mitch Graham has been appointed Vice President, Alternative Programming. Lionsgate: James W. Barge has been named Chief Financial Officer effective October 1st, taking over for James E. Keegan, who will continue to serve as a consultant until his retirement on January 3rd, 2014. NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment: Adam Stotsky has been promoted to President, Esquire Network. Sony Pictures Entertainment: Dwight Caines has been promoted to President, Theatrical Marketing, Columbia TriStar Motion Pictures Group. Universal Parks & Resorts: Page Thompson has been named President, International Operations, beginning January, 2014.  He currently serves as Executive Vice President, Strategic Integration, at NBCUniversal. Universal Pictures: Craig Kornblau, President of Universal Studios Home Entertainment, will oversee all aspects of a newly restructured Home Entertainment division; Michael Bonner has taken a new title as Executive Vice President, Digital Distribution, and Jessica Schell will continue to serve as Executive Vice President, New Media & Digital Entertainment. Warner Bros: Jim Wuthrich is being promoted to President of the Americas at Warner Bros Home Entertainment, replacing Mark Horak, who will exit the company in early 2014.

Film

Illuminate Hollywood: Steve Galloway has joined as Senior Vice President of Business Development. MPAA: John McCoskey has been hired as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer; Alex Deacon has been appointed to a new position, Senior Vice President, Internet Technology, based in Silicon Valley. Shaftesbury Films: Ryan St. Peters has been promoted to Vice President, Sales & Business Development, in Toronto.

Television

Alloy Entertainment: Cheryl Dolins has joined the New York office as Senior Vice President, Television Production & Development; Amanda Bowman has come aboard in Los Angeles as Manager, Development. Brillstein Entertainment Partners: Maia Hollinger has come aboard as Director, Television Development. Ellen Rakieten Entertainment: Matthew Vafiadis and Jennifer Danska have both joined as Senior Vice Presidents, Development. FremantleMedia North America: Christine Shaw has been hired as Senior Vice President, Communications & Marketing. Off the Fence: The English-Dutch production and distribution company has hired Havva Eisenbaum as Vice President, Development, in the Los Angeles office. Relativity Media: Jason Adelman has joined as Vice President, Marketing and Brand Partnerships, Sheets Brand / PureBrands. Revolt TV: Bruce Perlmutter has been named Senior Vice President, Programming and Production. Rogers Media: Hayden Mindell has been promoted to Vice President, TV Programming & Content, in Toronto. Sharp Entertainment: The New York-based unscripted production company has launched Sharp UK, in London, where Amelia Pulsford will serve as Director, Content. Shaw Media: Amanda Ploughman has been hired as Head, Marketing, in Toronto. Shine TV: The London-based main production arm of Shine Group has promoted Kelly Webb-Lamb to Managing Director. Tribune Broadcasting: Steve Farber has been hired, in Chicago, as Senior Vice President, Operations. Univision: Heidi Renpenning has joined as News Anchor, Univision Phoenix. Univision Communications: Jennifer Ball has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Content Distribution Marketing & Partnerships; Rick Ehrman has been hired as Executive Vice President, Corporate Business Development.  Both serve in the New York office. Zodiak Los Angeles: Andy Lennon has added Chief Operating Officer to his existing title of Chief Financial Officer; Tony Yates has become Chief Executive Officer. Zodiak Media: Marc-Antoine d’Halluin has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, effective October 15th, 2013.

CAA: Ryan Abboushi, Matt Martin, and Jon Teiber have been internally promoted to agents.  Abboushi is an agent in CAA’s Comedy department, Martin in Motion Picture Literary, and Teiber in Motion Picture Talent. CAA: Jesse Adler has been promoted to Executive, Sports Consulting, in New York. CAA: Jessica Graboff has been promoted to agent in the Commercial Endorsements department in New York. CAA: Brendan Shields-Shimizu has been promoted to Executive, Marketing. Equitable Stewardship for Artists (ESA): Tyler Allen is now an agent. Luxury Management Group: Bradford Sisk has been hired as Vice President, Entertainment.

CNET: Laura Martinez has joined as Senior Editor, CNET en Espanol. Vevo: Jonathan Carson has joined as Chief Revenue Officer. The Weather Channel: Scot Safon will join the network as Chief Marketing Officer, effective September 30th.
